Our family is grateful that we have an amazing dojo right behind our backyard! Keegan started there in 2018, with Jaiden following shortly. It didnt take long before Kailee and Lana joined in as well. Even Pat stepped in as a student for a time period! Jen did a self defense class which then led to her joining as well. It has been quite a journey for each individual and for the family. Dillsburg Karate Academy is like having an extended part of the family as well! We love that we can train together at home, discuss and share things that we all relate to. It has rich lessons in history, respect, dedication, commitment, and has many benefits to our health (mental and physical). 

Having so many people involved does add up in costs (monthly fees, uniforms, gear, weapons, tournament fees, workshops, travel, training, books, etc). We are always in the mindset that "we make things happen." So here we are...getting ready for tournament season and noticing we are overdue for many gi (uniforms) to be replaced and saving up for tournaments (did you know one tournament can range from $25-70 for each person...multiply that by 5!) and other odds and ends. 

We have always appreciated the support of our friends/family/community. We are not asking for handouts...we are asking for exchanges! Time to manifest abundance for our family karate journey!

Come out and hang with us on Sunday August 27th from 12-5pm.

Jennifer will be doing henna ($20 for a sm/med sized design). All proceeds going to the FUNraiser.

She will also be offering mini sessions (Reiki/Reflexology/Sound) $30  for 20 min. All proceeds going to the FUNraiser.

Artwork will be available and 20% will go towards the FUNraiser.

Jaiden will have 3D Prints available for purchase.

Kids will have a bake sale. 

We will have some refreshments & snacks available. You are also welcome to bring along your own cooler of goodies (drinks/food) and just enjoy hanging out with us!
